Allied health at home for seniors in Sydney

Families hear allied health and still do not know who will actually come to the house. With Alera, a physiotherapist or an exercise physiologist visits an older adult at home in Sydney. We do not offer occupational therapy or NDIS services.

Physiotherapy at home

Physiotherapy is for mobility, balance, pain, and recovery after hospital or surgery. A plain explanation of the visit is what physio at home means. The service page is physiotherapy at home.

Exercise physiology at home

Exercise physiology is graded exercise for long-term conditions and healthy ageing. Read exercise physiology at home.

Who it is for

Older adults who need care where they live, and families arranging that care. Discharge planners and care managers can refer a client.

Funding

If you are on Support at Home, your registered provider holds the funding and Alera delivers physiotherapy or exercise physiology when that provider arranges it. DVA, where eligible, and private payment are discussed on the planning call, where we confirm what applies to you.

Start with funding for home physio and exercise physiology.

Where to go next

Sydney Metro hubs, including Parramatta and Western Sydney, are on our locations page. Confirm the suburb before you expect a visit.
