How fees work for private home visits
We confirm your fee on a short planning call, before the first visit is booked, so you know the cost upfront. The call takes about 15 minutes. It is planning only, not a treatment session.
Fees are not published on the website, and there are no fixed packages to choose from.
What a home visit includes
- A 45 to 60 minute visit in your own home with a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist.
- The same physio each visit wherever possible, so your progress is measured against the same starting point.
- If your family would like an update, your physio can provide one with your consent.

An itemised invoice for every visit
Alera provides an itemised invoice for every visit, so you, or the family member who looks after the paperwork, have a clear record of each visit.
Do I need a referral to pay privately?
No. You, or a family member, can enquire online or call 040 55 77 555. You do not need a GP referral. If you have hospital discharge notes or exercise sheets, keep them for the first visit.
How soon can visits start?
There is no waitlist. New clients are usually seen within 24 to 48 hours of booking.
Support at Home and DVA
Alera Healthcare is an associated Support at Home provider, not a registered provider. If you have a registered provider, they hold your funding and can arrange physio or exercise physiology with us.
