Physio at home in Lindfield

Yes. Alera Healthcare physiotherapists and exercise physiologists visit homes in Lindfield and East Lindfield, including apartments near the station and units in local retirement villages. The same physio comes back each visit wherever possible, so your progress is measured in the same home. Visits run 45 to 60 minutes. Book a 15-minute call to find a time.

Lindfield village, on both sides of the line

Lindfield station splits the village in two. West of the platforms, the shops run along the Pacific Highway. East of the platforms, Lindfield Avenue opens onto the Lindfield Village Green, the council square that opened in February 2022. A home visit can use whichever side is part of the week: the walk to the highway shops, or the path out to the square.

Apartment blocks sit within an easy walk of the platforms. If getting downstairs and along to the shops is the goal, the physio can practise the lift, the corridor and that outdoor stretch, at the pace the day allows. Lindfield Manor is on Bent Street. Visits there happen in the resident's own unit, where the village allows visiting health practitioners.

East Lindfield: bushland streets and Middle Harbour

East Lindfield feels quieter. The streets fall away towards Middle Harbour and Garigal National Park, with sloping driveways and long garden paths rather than a station concourse. Lindfield Gardens retirement village is on Ulmarra Place, entered from the end of Wellington Road. The physio sees the resident in their own villa or apartment, where the village allows visiting health practitioners.

Tell us the street, including whether the drive slopes towards the harbour, so the first visit is planned around that path.

The same physio, the same home

Wherever possible, you see the same physio, so the second front step, the lounge chair and the path to the letterbox are already known. Progress is judged against that starting point. You do not retell your history on the doorstep. There is no promise of a particular result. Read why the same physio matters.

Older homes, verandahs and garden steps

Many Lindfield houses are older, with a verandah, front steps and stairs inside. The session uses those exact steps, plus the bathroom, the bed and the chair, because you use them every day. A generic clinic circuit does not show whether the verandah rail is the bit that feels unsteady. See falls prevention at home.

Home from Royal North Shore or the San

Royal North Shore Hospital is at St Leonards, down the line from Lindfield station. Sydney Adventist Hospital is at Wahroonga, up the line. Neither hospital is connected to Alera.

What we help with at home

Physiotherapy in Lindfield covers recovery after surgery, falls and balance, arthritis, Parkinson's and stroke. See physiotherapy at home. Will the same physio come to my Lindfield home each time?

I live in an apartment near Lindfield station. Can the physio help me get to the shops again?
